During the pandemic, Valerie unexpectedly stepped into the fashion industry—and from that moment, she discovered not only a new passion for herself, but also a new vision for her company, Originally Crafted Events, LLC (OCE). What began as a business in the craft beverage industry evolved into something far more dynamic. After getting signed to a local modeling agency, Valerie’s career quickly gained momentum—appearing on a Times Square billboard, walking the runway during Miami Swim Week, New York Fashion Week, and Art Basel, and producing unique, high-level fashion events such as The Royal Garden Miami Edition and the NYFW Pantone Vivid Magenta Production.

Her work in fashion has been fueled by a strong business foundation, incredible collaborations, and an unshakable determination to create fresh, memorable experiences. Outside of OCE, Valerie serves as the Events and Programs Manager for the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce, where she has plans, coordinates, and executes over 100 large and small-scale events and programs for the community. 

Valerie’s journey is rooted in reinvention. In February 2020, shortly after launching OCE, the pandemic forced her to pause traditional events. She pivoted by working with local liquor stores and breweries to sell variety packs, donating 100% of the proceeds to COVID-19 relief efforts. It was during this time she embraced modeling—something she’d admired since childhood but never pursued until her late 20s. That leap of faith not only opened doors in fashion, but also allowed her to merge her love for events with her new career, bringing unique experiences to audiences across the country.

Valerie continues to challenge herself in both business and personal growth, driven by the belief that the best chapters are still ahead for OCE, her modeling career, and the communities she serves.
